Just Getting Started

It is getting cold in the evening and a fire outside is always nice but lately we have been coming in the house to stay warm. Woody spends some time on Craig's List trying to find something he can't live without  and Peg usually fixes dinner.
We decided we would start a blog because Woody has all of these orange tractors (Allis Chalmers) that he rebuilds and restores. Some of the things he does, Peg thinks he should share with others who also like to do this kind of stuff.  For example, the rims of the last tractor, were trimmed with the cardboard from an Old Style twelve pack box in a circular fashion. Kind of like the cones you put on a dog after ear surgery. He then spray painted them silver.  This technique kept the rim smooth, without drips. The coverage looked professionally done.
Peg joined in on the blogging because Woody doesn't type and she has a little to add. Maybe a recipe or a project with the grandkids. She's also a quilter. The possibilities are endless and we are just getting started!
